SunnyFortuna.com tells us: “You would think that a 350-foot-tall tree would need deep roots, but that’s not the case at all with the Sequoia sempervirens. Redwood tree roots are very shallow, often only five or six feet deep. But they make up for it in width, sometimes extending up to 100 feet from the trunk. They thrive in thick groves, where the roots can intertwine and even fuse together. This gives them tremendous strength against the forces of nature. This way they can withstand high winds and raging floods.”
Joanne Eddy said it well. “So, redwoods do not survive alone…ever. They form “tribes” or communities. Sometimes they grow so close to each other they merge at the base into one tree. The first thing they provide each other is strength and support: intertwining roots. Not deep, but wide, living in an embrace of others.
The merged roots also meet their needs for nurture. The entire system relies on their rooted connections.”
I often refer to the people with wholesale accounts that I support as my “Tribe”. Do you feel a part of our Tribe? Do you want to be a part of our Community? Together, supporting each other, we all are stronger, more able to weather the storms in our lives by sharing encouragement and helpful, healthy tips to make our bodies stronger, calmer and just plain healthier.
If you use FaceBook, join our Tribe at Calm Delight Oilers where I post helpful tips and education on doTERRA products that may help you with known issues you want to address and as I like to say, with side benefits. You and other members can share what you have learned and contribute to our Tribe growing stronger, individually and as a community.
If you want some personalized support or would like to a personal consultation to discuss how essential oils can support your goal of living healthier, e-mail me at CalmDelightOils@gmail.com and I would be happy to chat!
Essential oils benefit our bodies both physically and emotionally. This is a chart that kinda guides you to the “category” of oil that would help with different emotional needs. Notice TREES give us strength to weather storms like grief, sadness and feeling ashamed (among other benefits like physical pain too).
Let’s grow stronger together!
